About Our Guest:
Rachel A. Steiner is a dynamic and results-driven professional with over 15 years of experience in relationship building, strategic planning, and program management.
Recognized as a 2014 Wichita Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree, Rachel has consistently demonstrated her talent for driving organizational growth through innovative thinking and leadership.
Currently serving as the director of the new Center for Enterprise and Community Engagement at Friends University.
Previously, as the Account Executive at Delta Dental she maintained an impressive 99.6% client retention rate by building strong relationships with brokers and clients, analyzing data for renewals, and delivering engaging presentations at open enrollment meetings.
Prior to Delta Dental, Rachel held key leadership roles at Friends University, including Director of Graduate and Professional Studies Recruitment, where she led a team of eight, managed department budgets, and developed successful corporate partnerships.
Rachel also brings experience in marketing, communications, and sales. Rachel holds a Master of Science in Leadership and Management from Friends University, graduating with academic distinction, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Southwestern College.
She is a dedicated community leader that has been involved with Junior Achievement, the Junior League of Wichita, and various local professional organizations. Her accolades include the Wichita Business Journal Women in Business in Healthcare (2023), Influencers (2018–2019), and Emerging Leaders (2018), underscoring her status as an influential figure in the Wichita business community.
