After two great years at HopeNet, we said goodbye to our friend and teammate, Meghan Klaassen.

Meghan brought so much heart, creativity, and dedication to HopeNet, and we are incredibly grateful for the many ways she served our organization and our community. While we will miss having her with us every day, we are excited for her as she begins a new chapter as Assistant Director of Development at Botanica.

Thank you, Meghan, for all you have given to HopeNet. We will miss you and wish you all the best in this exciting new adventure!

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of a beloved member of the HopeNet family, Barbara Williams.

Barbara dedicated much of her life to caring for others and strengthening the mental health community in Wichita. A clinical social worker, she spent 28 years with the Wichita Guidance Center before entering private practice and eventually bringing her years of experience and wisdom to HopeNet.

At HopeNet, Barbara served both as a board member and clinical supervisor, mentoring and guiding a new generation of mental health professionals. Her influence reached far beyond our walls. Throughout her career, she served numerous organizations, trained social work and psychology interns, supported professionals pursuing clinical certification, and advocated for children and families throughout our community.

Barbara's legacy is woven into the story of HopeNet. We are profoundly grateful for the wisdom, compassion, and years of service she so generously shared with us and with Wichita.

Our hearts and prayers are with Barbara's family and all those whose lives were touched by her.

Barbara lived a life of service, faith, family, and compassion. It was a privilege to have her as part of the HopeNet family, and her impact will continue for generations.

In honor of Barbara's commitment to helping others, her family has designated HopeNet as a recipient of memorial gifts. We are deeply humbled to be part of her lasting legacy.

Thank you, Barbara, for the lives you touched, the professionals you mentored, and the hope you helped make possible. You will be deeply missed ❤
