October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness, honor survivors, and reaffirm our collective responsibility to create safer communities for all.

Through Delta Sigma Theta’s commitment to public service and social action, we can help break the silence surrounding domestic violence, challenge harmful misconceptions, and connect survivors with resources and support.

If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, confidential support is available through the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 800-799-SAFE (7233). You can also text BEGIN to 88788 or visit thehotline.org.

Believe survivors. Know the signs. Share resources. Stand against abuse. 💜
