🔥 THE DOCTRINE OF THE NICOLAITANS IS ALIVE TODAY 🔥
📖 “But this you have, that you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.” — Revelation 2:6 (TS2009)
📖 “So you also have those who hold the teaching of the Nicolaitans, which teaching I hate.” — Revelation 2:15
Let that sink in.
Yahusha doesn’t just correct it.
He says He HATES it.
So what is it?
It’s not complicated.
It’s the belief that:
“I know God”
“I believe in Messiah”
“I’m covered by grace”
…so now I can live however I want.
No obedience.
No works.
No transformation.
No fear of Yahuah.
No turning from sin.
Just confession without crucifixion.
⚠️ THIS IS THE MODERN GOSPEL IN MANY PLACES
A gospel where:
Grace replaces repentance
Belief replaces obedience
Words replace fruit
But Scripture cuts through that lie:
📖 “You believe that God is one. You do well. The demons also believe—and shudder.” — James 2:19
Belief alone does not save.
Even demons “believe.”
⚖️ THE TRUE ISSUE: LAWLESSNESS
The Nicolaitans taught that being justified by belief meant freedom from restraint.
That same mindset today says:
“The law doesn’t matter anymore”
“Sin is covered no matter what”
“Once saved, always safe—no matter how you live”
But Yahusha warned:
📖 “Depart from Me, you who work lawlessness.” — Matthew 7:23
Not unbelievers.
People who called Him Master… but lived in lawlessness.
💔 EMPTY WORSHIP IS REJECTED
📖 “I hate, I despise your festivals… Even though you offer Me burnt offerings… I do not accept them.” — Amos 5:21–22
📖 “Your appointed times My being hates… they are a trouble to Me.” — Isaiah 1:14
Why?
Because their lives didn’t match their worship.
Their gatherings were full…
but their hearts were far from Him.
🎄 TRADITIONS WITHOUT TRUTH
When people cling to man-made traditions while ignoring obedience…
When culture replaces command…
When the world reshapes worship…
You don’t get truth.
You get mixture.
⚔️ THE REAL CALL
This is not about attacking people.
This is about exposing deception.
Because Yahusha’s message has never changed:
REPENT!
Turn from sin
Crucify the flesh
Be born again
Walk in the Spirit
Bear fruit
