Congratulations to the new Great Chief for the Grand Council of Knight Masons, USA, Russell Bridges.

We are fortunate to have our own Justin Crippen appointed and installed as the Grand Superintendent for the Grand Council of Knight Masons, USA for Kansas and Oklahoma.

Wayne Rollf of Drogheda Council No. 68 was selected and invested with the Knight Commander Zerubbabel honor for his continued work with Knight Masonry in Kansas. Wayne is only the third member in Kansas to receive this honor after Gary Mason and Patrick Carr.

Today was a fantastic Masonic day in Kansas! Thanks to Justin Crippen and Kelly J. Long for putting together the 4th Annual Kansas Knight Masons/Allied Masonic Degrees Ingathering.

We conferred the degrees of Irish Masonry this morning in Emporia on three candidates from across the state.

After a short lunch, we opened the Kansas AMD Councils and conferred the degrees on four candidates. Afterwards, we exemplified the Grand Tilers of King Solomon, Ark and the Dove, and the Secret Monitor (American).

We opened and then conferred the first three Grades of the Scarlet Cord on 8 new worthy and well qualified candidates.

Our banquet was wonderful and Chris Collins provided and wonderful meal. The perfect end to the day was when Kevin Sample, Past Great Chief and current AMD Grand Chaplain, addressed the attendees at the banquet before the requisite toasts were had by all.

It was a fantastic Masonic Experience and one we all enjoy each year.

If you are planning to attend the 4th Annual Kansas AMD/Knight Masons Ingathering on October 11, 2025, at Emporia Lodge, please register below.

For those planning on taking any of the first three grades of the Scarlet Cord, you must be registered by September 1, 2025. There will be no additional registrations for the Scarlet Cord after that date.

This is going to be another excellent ingathering, and we are looking forward to seeing a good crowd again this year.
