Assistance League of Wichita

Assistance League of Wichita Assistance League is a national nonprofit with a vision to empower volunteers to make lasting change through community-based philanthropic programs.

Locally, Assistance League volunteers have chosen four programs to support. We partner with USD259 through Operation School Bell to help Pre K – 12 students and provide vocational scholarships for graduating seniors. Efforts to mitigate the trauma experienced by victims of violence are channeled through Sexual Assault Victim Support and Bear Hugs. The Assistance League Thrift Shop located at 2431

E. Douglas provides a pleasant and friendly shopping atmosphere, featuring new and gently used merchandise, including clothing, collectibles, furniture, housewares, jewelry, seasonal items, toys and boys. All items presented for sale in the shop have been donated. A donation receipt is provided.
