❤️ When a CDC becomes family…
Every now and then, a family shares words that remind us exactly why we do what we do. We were so touched to receive this beautiful message from Luna’s mom about her experience at our YMCA South High CDC.
"I just want to take a moment to share how much South High CDC means to me and my daughter, Luna. ❤️
Choosing a daycare for your child is such a big decision. You’re trusting other people with the most important person in your life, and as a mom, that can be scary. But from the beginning, South High CDC has given me a sense of comfort and peace that I’m so incredibly grateful for.
This daycare has become so much more than just a place where Luna goes during the day. The people there have made us feel like family. They know Luna, they care about her, they celebrate her little accomplishments, and they love her for exactly who she is. Seeing how excited she is to walk through those doors and how comfortable she feels with the people caring for her means absolutely everything to me.
I also have to give a special shoutout to Ms. Charity! 🥹❤️ She was absolutely amazing in helping us with Luna’s potty-training journey. Potty training can definitely be challenging, but having someone who was patient, encouraging, and willing to work with Luna made such a huge difference. I’m so thankful for the time and effort she put into helping Luna reach that milestone. It meant so much to me as her mom!
South High CDC has also been there for me as a mom. They’ve supported me, reassured me, listened to me, and made me feel like I’m never alone in this whole parenting journey. That kind of support is something you don’t forget.
I’m so thankful Luna gets to grow, learn, play, and be loved by such an amazing group of people. The impact South High CDC has had on both of us goes far beyond what happens inside those walls. They have truly become a part of our family, and I will forever be grateful for every person who has loved and cared for my baby girl.
Thank you, South High CDC, for loving Luna, supporting me, celebrating her milestones, and making both of us feel like family. We love and appreciate you more than you know. "
