Our hearts are full! 💙

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who joined us last night for Laughing with the Stars. Together, we did more than just raise money—we celebrated the incredible talents and potential of our Laughing Feet Performers.

🌟⭐From the Wine Pull to the high-stakes bidding in our Silent Auction, the energy was positive! But the true highlight of the evening was the heartwarming performance by our performers and local celebrities. Seeing their hard work and joy on center stage reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

Your generous donations will ensure that individuals with special needs continue to have the support and opportunities they deserve.

Our performers are the reason we do what we do. Meet some of the talent you’ll see on stage. NEXT UP: Ashley Reeder.

Ashley has been a Laughing Feet Performer for 13 years. She loves Laughing Feet because it gives people with special abilities to perform and shine on stage. Ashley’s family said, “The shows are important to our community because they show the unlimited potential of the performers.” Before a show is even over, Ashley is already looking forward to the next Laughing Feet show. She gets super excited about learning the new songs and dances, and of course, she loves hearing the cheers, the applause, and the roar of the crowd. The flowers and pictures with family and friends are always a perk, too.

Carrie has been a Laughing Feet Performer for 8 years. Carrie’s family said that they are thankful for the opportunities that Laughing Feet has given Carrie. It brings her such joy to be able to use her God-given talent. It truly fills her heart. One of their favorite memories is when Carrie and 3 other participants performed at one of the sponsors' locations to promote their opening show.

Meet the stars of our Laughing with the Stars Benefit Performance! Next Up: Mayor Lily Wu.

Mayor Lily Wu was elected Mayor of Wichita, Kansas in November 2023, and was sworn in as the City of Wichita’s 103rd mayor on January 8, 2024. Mayor Lily is the first woman elected to a full term in the largest city in Kansas. She is the first Asian American mayor in
the state of Kansas. She has been a Wichitan since 1993, when her family immigrated to Wichita from Guatemala. Mayor Lily was an award-winning local television journalist and is a proud alumna of Wichita Public Schools, including Wichita High School East, Wichita
State University, and the University of Hong Kong. As mayor, she champions an inclusive vision for the entire city, focusing on ensuring public safety, strengthening the economy, restoring trust in City Hall, and building a united community.
