The Wichita Police & Fire Foundation would like for you to say HELLO and a big “THANK YOU” to Wichita Police Department’s Officer Darrin Williams. Officer Williams has been with the WPD for 20+ years and is currently assigned to Patrol West Community Policing.
We asked Officer Williams the following questions. 🚔 Why did you make the decision to go into law enforcement ? 💥When I was young I was always the person “to step in” when others were getting picked on so this was just a natural progression for me into this career. 🚔 What do you wish people understood about the job ? 💥 Daily I am doing everything that I can. I wish we could ALL do the most for our community. 🚔 Do you have a hobby ? 💥 The gym is my hobby and I take great effort and care into my physical wellness and my health. (My second hobby is shopping for shoes !!!!!) 🚔 Are you a cat or dog person ? 💥 Definitely dog.
We need to know just how many shoes are in his collection, so make sure you ask him when you see him.
Again, a big thank you to WPD for taking a few minutes to share some insight. Wichita Police Department Patrol West
