The GPUSBC All-Star Committee recently met to revisit the All-Star Team criteria and discuss the current league bowling landscape in Wichita.

We feel these updated rules better reflect a bowler’s complete body of work throughout the season.

The new criteria outline eligibility and scoring for the Men’s, Women’s, Senior Men’s and Senior Women’s teams. Please review the full rules below.

This will go into effect immediately for the 2026-2027 season, beginning on June 1st, 2026.

Opportunity knocking. We’re looking to grow our team.

The Great Plains USBC team of volunteers work bingo at Bingo Casino West at 540 N. West Street the 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesday evening of every month. The funds earned enable our Association to offer things like scholarships to local high school students as well as WSU’s and Newman’s bowling programs. It pays to send representatives to the Kansas State USBC Annual meeting and USBC’s National Convention. Finally, these funds have allowed us to operate without a local membership dues increase since 2008.

What’s in it for you? We’re glad you asked.
1. Exercise. We’ll help you reach your daily goal of steps.
2. Fellowship. Get to know some local Directors and other bowling volunteers.
3. Fulfillment. Take pride in giving back to your bowling community by helping fund our future.
4. Perks. Volunteers and their guest get free entry to our Hall of Fame and Recognition Banquet.

USBC membership cards are going digital for the 2027-2028 season — but the ways you join USBC aren’t changing.

✅ Join online at BOWL.com
✅ Join through your certified league using a paper application
✅ Associations will continue receiving membership applications and supplies for league officials

The membership card is going digital. Your membership options remain the same.

As we are getting those tournament entries out, we are giving you guys some time to block your calenders off now! Save those dates, cancel all those plans you already have, and get ready to bowl.

We are back at Let's Roll Derby this year on November 7th & 8th, 14th & 15th, and 21st & 22nd.
