Congratulations Sedgwick County, Kansas District Attorney Marc Bennett on receiving the KCDAA Lifetime Achievement Award 👏

We are so fortunate and grateful to have DA Bennett leading the Sedgwick County DA’s office.

Congratulations to District Attorney Marc Bennett, who was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Kansas County and District Attorneys Association (KCDAA) at their 2026 fall conference today.

The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes Kansas prosecutors who have dedicated at least 25 years of their careers to serving as a prosecutor. DA Bennett joined the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office in 1997 and has served as District Attorney since 2012. That’s nearly three decades of service to this community.

The Freedom Hooves team and horses provide the kids a safe place to process trauma and grow emotionally and their self confidence. 💙🐎
