Very exciting news news for Bread Club of Wichita! On July 27, our guest chef will be Hazel Stabler. If her name sounds familiar, she is on the Wichita School Board. She is also recognized in our community (and beyond) for her representation of Native American culture and history. She is also recognized internationally for her fashion designs. Hazel will be teaching us an authentic bread recipe from her Yaqui and Ojibwe heritage.

Please RSVP to me at [email protected] or via Facebook Messenger so we will have enough ingredients and equipment ready for everyone.

Bread Club of Wichita meets on the fourth Saturday of each month, 1pm at Woodland United Methodist Church. Bread Club is a project of Children First: CEO Kansas Inc.

Please share this invitation with anyone you think would be interested.
