A most insightful essay about the Theater Ecosystem. I’ve reposted this before (maybe my personal acct?) but it’s worth a read, if only for the perfect reference to “Dunkin’ Donuts” and “side-eye.”

Stop treating the theatre across town like the enemy. The audience isn’t a finite pie, actors aren’t property, and your real competition is Netflix. A rising tide lifts all ships.

Some plays are escapist and 'fun' -- some plays are important and rewarding. SWEAT is meaningful and deeply human -- you won't regret coming. Playing through April 5.
