This is just a friendly reminder that driving mini motor scooters and golf carts is illegal on the city streets unless they are properly tagged, insured and driven by a licensed driver. The police will issue citations.

Passing along more information from the Pool Association...The swimming pool at the Enclave is closed again. Unfortunately f***s was found in the swimming pool once again. A sign is posted and the gate is locked.

A message from the Pool Board President: FRIDAY AFTERNOON OR EVENING, THE BASKETBALL BACKBOARD AT THE MEADOWS WAS SHATTERED! IT LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE THREW ROCKS AND SHATTERED IT. THE POOL BOARD RECENTLY APPROVED THE EXPENDITURE OF $675.00 TO REPLACE THE BACKBOARD AFTER IT HAD BEEN SHATTERED LAST YEAR. THE NEW BACKBOARD WAS ONLY UP ABOUT A MONTH. LAST WEEK SOMEONE LOWERED THE RIM AND THEN PROCEEDED TO CUT THE NETS. I NO MORE GOT THAT REPAIRED AND THE RIM BACK UP TO 10 FEET WITH A LOCK ON IT AND NOW THIS. IF ANYONE SAW ANYTHING OR WITNESSED THIS, PLEASE CONTACT ME. THE POOL WAS PACKED FRIDAY. I BELIEVE IT WAS THREE BOYS BUT WOULD LIKE MORE INPUT BEFORE THE POLICE GET INVOLVED. TALK TO YOUR CHILDREN AND SEE IF THEY KNOW ANYTHING. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME. IF WE CAN'T FIND OUT FOR SURE WHOM WAS RESPONSIBLE AND HAVE THEM REPLACE IT, I WILL BE MAKING A MOTION AT THE JUNE 12TH POOL BOARD MEETING TO TAKE DOWN THE GOAL AND DISPOSE OF IT. THAT'S WHAT HAS HAPPENED AT THE ENCLAVE AND THE FAIRWAYS. UNFORTUNATELY, THIS WAS PLANNED INTO THE FACILITY AND A GOALRILLA SYSTEM. If you have any information regarding this vandalism, please message through FB and I will get the information to the Pool Board or please call HOA Management Services to report. Thank you.

Unfortunately last month we were unable to hold our regularly scheduled board meeting due to lack of a quorum. The rescheduled meeting is planned for Monday, June 5 at 7:00 p.m. at the Legends Clubhouse. Sorry for the short notice. Summertime schedules are hectic! As always, homeowners are welcome to attend the meeting. If you would like to be placed on the agenda in advance, please contact HOA Management Services. Thank you!

We were notified today that the Enclave pool will be shut down for 24 hours. A homeowner reported that there was f***s in the pool. It is currently being treated.

One of our neighbors asked us to share this with the neighborhood again this year...We are having our 3rd Backyard Bible Club called “Journey Off The Map!”
A Backyard Bible Club is a mini Vacation Bible School. It has traditional Vacation Bible School curriculum and involves a Bible Story, Snack, Recreation, Craft and Song Time. Kids will learn how they can follow Jesus as their Guide and trust Him to have a plan for their lives. 17 children from the neighborhood participated last year. Kids won’t want to miss! Encourage your child to bring a friend! Grades 1 – 6th! Dates are June 26-28 from 10 am to 12 pm.

The neighborhood pools and clubhouses are maintained by a separate HOA. Their website is http://auburnhillspools.com. Please contact HOA Management Services if you need something concerning the pools or clubhouses. There has been lots of maintenance done in and around the pools this spring in preparation for pool season. All four pools are officially open for the summer today! Please enjoy but also be mindful of the pool rules and if you notice any vandalism, please contact the police if it's in progress or HOA Management Services if it's to report as soon as possible. Your pool association dues go directly to the upkeep of the four pools, two clubhouses, playgrounds and the landscaping that's part of those properties. Let's all do our part in keeping these great amenities nice for all of our families! We hope you have an awesome summer!

As you make your plans to begin spring exterior home projects or landscaping changes and/or upgrades, please remember that you must submit and receive approval from the Design Review Committee (DRC) prior to beginning work. This is a requirement of living in an HOA community. More information including the submission form is located on our website at http://auburnhills-hoa.org/. Thank you!

We were made aware there was flyer posted in the Auburn Hills Ironwood neighborhood yesterday morning regarding zoning changes for the land located next to the Kanza Bank strip mall on the south side of Maple. This would change the zoning from a 8,000sq ft. building to a 16,000sq ft. building.

This case will be presented in front of the District Advisory Board on Monday March 6th, 2017 at 6:30pm at the Lionel Alford Branch Library 3447 S. Meridian.

The Metropolitan Area Planning Department will have a public hearing on Thursday, March 9th, 2017 at 1:30 pm in the planning commission conference room. This will be located on the 2nd floor Suite # 203 at 271 W. 3rd St. 67202.

Rumors are floating around that this is being considered for zoning changes because Goodwill possibly wants to put a store in that location. However, it is uncertain at this time.
