Although I didn’t win the presidency, it does not prevent me from doing the work! I belong to several organizations that stand up for justice! The Wichita Racial Profiling Advisory Board is a strong organization that I encourage others to join! There are no dues—AND WORK gets done! Change is not always easy…..sometimes we put people in positions based only on friendship or affiliation and not on ability. In any election I encourage everyone to look at what is at stake and vote appropriately!

SATURDAY NOV 5TH @ 1 pm! In 1994, underground water pollution was detected in the area of 29th and Grove. The contamination spread over time. The actual date of contamination is not known. Between 1940-1960 the City started installing city water lines, this about the time when most of the homes in the area were built. I have been told that Work has been done to eradicate the pollution. This is a really important meeting to attend! Even if you are not sure if you are directly affected-you should attend! Do you need to get your home air quality tested? Do you have a lawn or garden well? What has been done?

It’s official! I am once again throwing my name in the hat to become the best President of the Wichita Branch NAACP! If you are currently a member I need your vote! If not currently a member please become a member — only current members may vote!
