This week, U.S. Senator Jerry Moran welcomed The Boeing Company President and CEO Kelly Ortberg, aerospace suppliers, elected officials and community partners for a series of events highlighting the strength of the Air Capital of the World.

The visit included a supplier tour, an employee event at Boeing’s Northeast Manufacturing Facility and a community reception at Exploration Place.

During the visit, Boeing announced a $1 billion investment in Wichita over the next three years focused on facilities, equipment and workforce development, reinforcing continued confidence in the region’s aerospace industry, workforce and future growth.
