Pantry open Wednesday nights during The Table Community Meal at
801 N Main Street in Newton.

We will NOT be reopening the So Shine Food Pantry alongside The Table community dinner. We are working to create a more efficient pantry that will help serve our community.

We will make our reopening announcement on this page in the future.

Beginning this week we will be offering The Porch Pantry on WEDNESDAYS ONLY. Distribution is from 5:30-7:00 pm.

No pantry tomorrow - Saturday, September 14. It might be a few weeks before a Saturday pantry again, so please plan on Wednesday night from 5:30-7.

One food bag per household - ready for our friends tomorrow!

As we continue transitioning our pantry to best serve the Newton community, we will now be providing pre-packed bags of food instead of a "choice pantry" experience.

Our guests are still welcome to get one bag on Wednesday and another bag on Saturday each week. We will have a "Wednesday Bag" with quick, heat and eat food, while the "Saturday Bag" will be more ingredient driven for preparing a meal or two.
