AA Place for Dogs is in the process of discontinuing services. Since June of 2022, we have been blessed to assist 97 people with 116 of their pets at a total cost of over $56,000.00. It isn’t possible to put a price on helping to save a person struggling with addiction nor on keeping them together with their beloved pet. To all those we have helped through this program, we wish you the best.
Thank you to the supporters of this program in the many ways you have helped to assist others through donating, boarding, providing veterinary services, and prayers. You are all special people who truly care about animals and their owners. None of this would have been possible without your willingness to step out and help. Blessings to you!

Thank you to the Krome Kitty Motorcycle Club for their altruistic, unselfish and compassionate support of people and their pets. Again and again, they have opened their hearts to help this mission. Bingo night was so fun! Together, we help people by providing care for their pets while the owner seeks treatment for addiction.

We are so grateful for the generosity of the people of Nebraska!
Many people needing treatment for substance use disorder will not go because of their animal. We offer a solution. We provide care for that animal, the owner goes to treatment, and they are reunited when treatment is finished. A win for everyone!
Our gratefulness extends to Capital Humane Society and Bailey’s Deluxe Pet Care. They help in this mission! Together, we reduce the pets who have to be surrendered and help people in need.

From 2022 to 2023, AA Place for Dogs nearly QUADRUPLED the number of participants we supported! Thank you to everyone who has spread the word about AAPD, and thank you to every person who has donated their time, resources, and prayers!

Those of us with animals know how much we love and depend on them! We pay for boarding beloved pets while the owner goes to inpatient rehab treatment and can then pick up that beloved pet upon release and take them home again!
