Kathina is such a meaningful time in our Khmer Buddhist community — a season of offering robes to the monks, creating merit, and coming together in gratitude and unity.

We are truly honored to share our traditional Cambodian dance at Wat Munivongsa today. Every time we perform, we remember our roots, our ancestors, and the beauty of Khmer culture that continues to live on here in Wichita.

Our Rombam Munivongsa dance troupe had the honor of performing at the AANHPI Heritage Festival in Kansas City, hosted by Hella Good Deeds and Café Cà Phê! 💫

May was packed with amazing events celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and we’re so proud to have shared a piece of Cambodian culture through our traditional dance. 🕊️💃🏽
