Last night the ladies of Heaven Held enjoyed a no rules craft. All decided to tell a story of their babies or journey with grief. While they all held so much weight and even darkness, they all were filled with beauty.

Most agree that there is a significant before loss/pregnancy and after. Grief changes us, but together we can remember and seek comfort in the knowledge of Heaven.

Happy Nurses Week - stuck between Bereaved Mother’s Day, Teacher Appreciation and Mother’s Day - we can’t forget our nurses ❤️ They are there for some of the best and worst moments life hands us. It is with so much appreciation, we thank you this week and always!

Today is Bereaved Mother’s Day - If you know a mom who has a baby that has gone too soon, please reach out and let them know you are thinking of them. Say their baby’s name. They love the few times they get to hear it.

We are with you mamas and hope to see you at Exodus Church today for a beautiful lament service.

As the pages of the calendar draw closer to the days we celebrate mothers and fathers, we recognize that these days are also marked by grief and loss for many.

Each year at this time we hold a special lament service for those of us whose lives have been changed by infertility, miscarriage, stillbirth, or the loss of a child. It is an intimate service of worship and prayer, followed by a time of fellowship with others who have walked this same road. We will experience Biblical lament, pray the Psalms, and find comfort in the God of sorrow and joy.

As a husband, father, wife or mother whose life has been shaped by this loss, we prayerfully invite you to join us for this special service. It will take place on Sunday, May 3rd at 7:00 pm at Exodus Church. If your life has been touched by this kind of loss, we warmly invite you to join us for this special gathering.
