🏡 A NEW HOME. A NEW BEGINNING. A STORY WORTH CELEBRATING! 🇺🇸

When Michael, a U.S. Navy Veteran, walked through the doors of Wichita Falls Faith Mission, he was facing homelessness and needed a safe place to stay. Today, we're celebrating an incredible new chapter in his story!

During his time with us, our Case Management team worked alongside community partners, including Catholic Charities Northwest Campus, Thomas Fowler American Legion Post #169, Helen Farabee Centers, and Mike Battaglino -Wichita Falls City Council District 4, to help Michael find the support and resources he needed to move forward.

Then, an incredible opportunity opened up!

Through the generosity of Home For Freedom, Michael was selected to receive a BRAND-NEW, FULLY FURNISHED HOME!

We want to extend a special thank you to Home for Freedom President Lisa Lothenore, Vice President Kenny Reynolds, and their entire board for making this life-changing opportunity possible. We're also incredibly grateful for Councilman Mike Battaglino and all our community partners who continue to work alongside us to help individuals find hope, stability, and a path forward.

Michael, congratulations on your new home! Thank you for your service to our country. We are honored to have played a small part in your journey and can't wait to see what this next chapter holds for you!

Stories like Michael's remind us that when a community comes together, lives can change. At Wichita Falls Faith Mission, we're committed to walking alongside those in need, because Every Story Matters. ❤️

Every day at Wichita Falls Faith Mission, we have the privilege of watching God work in the lives of the men and women who walk through our doors.

New Beginnings is about more than overcoming addiction. It’s about restoration. It’s about finding hope, building a new foundation, and discovering what life can look like with Christ at the center.

Students praying for one another. Staff walking alongside them. Lives being surrendered to Christ. Faith growing stronger one day at a time.

We are grateful for what God is doing here, and we know He is still writing stories. Every Story Matters. ❤️

Every story of change is supported by people willing to walk alongside someone.

We’re incredibly grateful for our Case Management Team and community partners like Catholic Charities Northwest Campus, who continue to connect our clients and veterans with resources, encouragement, and a strong community of support.

This month, News Channel 6 KAUZ's Texoma Veterans series features Cassidy, a U.S. Army veteran and participant in our New Beginnings Program.
