Affordable Housing Development – Our Board of Directors has expertise in acquiring and remodeling properties and values green technologies, energy efficiencies and universal design. We are committed to supporting community initiatives in developing environmentally friendly affordable housing. We value community cooperation between housing agencies, the comm
unity, lending institutions, social service organizations and contractors. Charitable Gifting of Real Estate – As part of our diversified funding plan, we accept and/or facilitate charitable gifts of Real Estate. Our organization collaborates with a nationally recognized expert who assists in the education of community members and organizations in answering their questions related to the charitable gifting of Real Estate. Donations can be anywhere in the world and include commercial or residential property or land. (Please consult your own financial professional to determine how any charitable donation will benefit you.) Dissemination of general information and materials – about housing opportunities and issues -- conducting informational campaigns and raising awareness about critical housing topics, including predatory lending or fair housing issues. Transitional Housing providing a safe living environment for all with a passion for youth ages 18-24 aging out or emancipated from the foster care system and veterans. Targeted Housing

Transitional Housing - for youth ages 18-24 and aging out or emancipated from the foster care system. Special Needs Housing - supporting the unique needs of seniors, individuals with disabilities—fostering the greatest independence possible. Veterans Housing - it is with honor and respect that we support the growing needs of veterans and their families from past and present wars through home modifications and repairs to provide safety, accessibility and comfort. Education and Job Training - This program connects individuals within our community with educational resources that allow them to complete their GED and find skilled jobs. We also instruct students in construction trades with on-the-job training, and in working with the contractors who are providing rehab and weatherization for our affordable housing program. We also plan to develop education and job training in the sciences, math, and art and will continue to focus our work in the areas of emerging technologies. Affordable Housing
To improve the quality of homeless, veterans’, “returning citizens” from incarcerated facilities, families and communities, by helping to develop, produce and manage low-cost affordable housing in safe neighborhoods including rental units and home ownership programs. The Destined Inn - A Discharge Planning Program for the homeless and those currently residing in government funded institutions (jails, prisons or foster care system). San Diego’s recuperative-care facility, designed to move a person that has been released from a hospital or treatment facility to a place where they can recover from illnesses, take medications, re-fill prescriptions, and arrange doctors' appointments and follow-up care. This facility will help people make successful community re-entry by ensuring the continuity of care and linkages to appropriate housing, community treatment and supports. Empowered Life Solutions works with schools, social service providers and government programs to assist their students and clients in finding adaptive equipment, the latest technology tools -both complex and simple, and other resources to address their unique needs. We work within the larger community to provide education, information and awareness of the technology needs of specific populations, whether they be low income, disabled, elderly, wounded veterans, and students, young and old. An avenue for transferring technologies developed in a variety of settings and bringing them into the mainstream for the benefit of all. Encouragement and incentives for students of all ages and abilities to enter the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) careers.
