We’re so proud to see the story behind Potencia Projects and Con Potencia highlighted by the City of Wichita Falls, Texas Government!🥹

What started as a desire to create more Hispanic representation in our community has grown into events, public art, partnerships, and new opportunities to celebrate the people and traditions that are part of Wichita Falls. We don't do it alone, it takes a village of volunteers and partners to make it happen and we are forever grateful.

Muchas Gracias to the City of Wichita Falls for helping share our story and for continuing to create space for culture and art in our community. 🧡❤️💜💚💙

Thank you to Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture, City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Tim Short for Mayor for the Hispanic Heritage Month Proclamation! 🙏🏼

Wichita Falls is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month! 🎉

Thank you to Mayor Tim Short for proclaiming September 15–October 15 as Hispanic Heritage Month in our city.

We’re celebrating the artists, traditions, and creativity that make Wichita Falls a creative community.

09/12/2026

✨ Hispanic Heritage Month begins September 15!

At Con Potencia, our mission is to provide a platform to highlight Latin art and culture by connecting our community to enrichment and cultural resources.

That mission comes to life through events like ESTRELLAS. 🌟

This celebration is a collaboration between Con Potencia, Zavala Hispanic Cultural Initiative, and the Wichita Falls Symphony, three organizations coming together to create something meaningful for our community through music, dance, culture, and shared experience.

💛This is what community is about. 💙

As Hispanic Heritage Month begins, we celebrate the generations who came before us, the artists carrying our culture forward, and the opportunity to make Hispanic Arts and Culture more visible throughout Wichita Falls. ✊🏼

Celebrate the Culture. Highlight the Art. Connect the Community.

¡Que vivan nuestras raíces! ❤️
