Saturday, May 9th, we were so grateful for a beautiful, sunny day to Celebrate Life at Lucy Park for our fundraising Walk for Life and 5K Fun Run event. The participation was awesome with over 600 enjoying the Trent Murray Band, children’s activities, Chick-fil-A Wichita Falls, Market Street, Seven Weeks Coffee, and Walmart (Greenbriar) donuts. The children loved getting their faces painted by Jennifer Dunn from Red River Child Evangelism Fellowship, balloon creations by John Pansze, interacting with characters from The Wichita Theatre and getting to enjoy getting on a firetruck from the City of Wichita Falls Fire Department. A Big Shout Out to our awesome staff and volunteers, SAFB volunteers, Catholic Campus Center At Msu and Chesterton Academy of Wichita Falls who made the event day happen. It was great to have KMOC, Nurse-Family Partnership, Wichita County, Inheritance Adoptions, Gabriel Project, Wichita Falls Area HIPPY Program and Turning Point USA at MSU Texas represented. Also thank you for Code 4 Security for providing security.
