Congratulations Brothers. On to bigger and better things. Jesse Brown and Clayton Brown Graduated with the President Medal. This medal is given to the top Student in their Major. Jesse graduated with a 4.0 GPA in criminal Justice and also received MSU Man of the Year. He will be returning to MSU to get is Masters degree and plans to run for Wichita Falls City Council! Clayton graduated with a 3.951 GPA in Mechanical Engineering. Clayton received the SGA Mustang of the year award. He will be attending Baylor Law School in the Fall on a full ride scholarship! Matthew will be returning to MSU for his Master degree and plans to be active in the Alumni chapter. Austin has received a job and is expecting a child in September! Congratulations brothers, You have made the chapter proud with your accomplishment. Through Gentility, Knowledge, Leadership, Excellence, perseverance, reverence, and service you have accomplished your goal. Excelsior brothers!

The Kappa Alpha Order Gamma Omega chapter and Alpha Phi - Gamma Omega Chapter (Midwestern State University) will be hosting the first annual MIDWESTERN COOK OFF CLASSIC!!! The event will be open to the public. We will have food, games, and other activities to participate in. Pre sale tickets will be $10 and at the door will be $15. Children ages 5-12 will be $5 and children under 5 are free. There will be a chili and brisket cook off. For teams of 5 it is $50 or a single person team is $25. All proceeds will go to the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Women's Cardiac Care Association. We received three awards at Province Council 2016. The awards included the Award for Academic excellence for achieving above a 2.9 GPA for two consecutive years. The Overall Excellence in Recruitment and Chapter Growth which is only given to one chapter in the Nation. We received this award for growing our chapter by 33%. Finally, we received the Samuel Zenas Ammen Award for Chapter Excellence. The Ammen award is only given to the top 15% of chapter in the Order and is also the second highest award given to a chapter. We are extremely humbled with these accolades and will continue to strive for Excellence. Excelsior Brothers!
