A powerful finish to Week 5 of the Dr. Blaine Purcell Road to College Summer Program! 🎓✨
​We ended the week on such a high note. 📈 We were thrilled to welcome back former RTC student Andrea Granados, who shared her journey at MSU and encouraged our current cohort to chase their academic dreams. 🎓🌟

​A special thank you to Dr. Keith Lamb, VP of Academic Enrollment at MSU, for visiting with our students and emphasizing the incredible opportunity they have in front of them. 🙌📖 The finish line is in sight, and we are so excited to celebrate all of our students’ accomplishments during graduation week! 🎊🏆

The power of community in action! 🎓🤝

​Our Road to College students had a fantastic day connecting with local leaders and exploring their future possibilities. A special thank you to Cindy Shaffer, CEO of the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce, for taking the time to engage with our student, their thoughtful questions truly showed how much they are growing. 💡✨

​Our 8th graders also had an inspiring visit to the McCoy College of Science, Mathematics and Engineering! Huge thanks to Taylor Majewski, Director of the STEM Center, for introducing our students to the exciting world of drone technology. 🚁⚙️📐

​At The Road to College, we hold our students to a culture of high expectations, where pursuing post-secondary education is the norm, not the exception. 🎓📈

What sets us apart?

It’s the willingness to go the extra mile for our students and being intentional about providing quality service every step of the way. 🤝✨

​This morning, we accompanied some of our seniors to the MSU Financial Aid Office to ensure their packages were finalized. We are incredibly proud to share that their financial aid packages now cover 100% of their costs! 🎓💰

​At Café, we remain deeply committed to promoting a college going culture for all students in Wichita Falls. Seeing our students reach these milestones is why we do what we do. 🚀📖

What a better way to end the 4th week of the Dr. Blaine Purcell Road to College (RTC) Summer Program than by celebrating our amazing alumni! 🎓✨

​This morning, we were thrilled to welcome back former RTC mentor Brandon Huynh. He shared his incredible college journey with our students and gave them a glimpse into his future as he prepares for dental school. 🦷📈

​It is deeply rewarding to watch our former students step into leadership roles and hear firsthand how this organization helped them navigate their path to success. Seeing that "full circle" moment is why we do what we do!

​After the presentation, our students jumped right back into mastering their academics and practicing the social and moral values we strive to model every day. 📚💡

What a phenomenal day at the Dr. Blaine Purcell Road to College Summer Program! 🚀

​Our 7th graders had an incredible time exploring the McCoy College of Science, Mathematics & Engineering. A huge thank you to Dr. Fulton for providing such impactful, hands-on experiences that are truly opening our students' eyes to the world of STEM careers. 🔬

​Beyond the classroom, we spent time in our RTC circle reflecting on gratitude—a core value we hold dear. Our teachers remain deeply intentional, ensuring every lesson is a step toward a brighter future.

🚀 Great way to kick off the beginning of the 4th week of the Dr. Blaine Purcell RTC Summer Program!

​🤖 This morning, our 6th graders visited the McCoy College of Science, Mathematics & Engineering, where they dived into hands-on robotics and engineering concepts.

​📚 Back in the classroom, students are working hard to master the essential English and Math skills that will prepare them for success in the upcoming academic year.

​🎶 The energy stayed high after classes with a student talent show! It was incredible to see them display their musical skills and creativity.
​🙌 We want to extend a special thank you to Dr. Fulton and Dr. Wang at the McCoy College of Science, Mathematics & Engineering for generously sharing their time and expertise with our students this morning.
