We are a little late on posting this, but we want to give a big CONGRATULATIONS to Jack Murphy on his retirement from the City of Wichita Falls. Mr. Murphy was the Director of Parks and Rec for many years for the City. When we approached Mr. Murphy with the idea of the dog park 7 years ago, he greeted us with open arms. He was overwhelmingly supportive of our efforts. Mr. Murphy, from everyone who enjoys the dog park, we give a big Thank You and Congratulations!

Hey guys, we are in the process of raising funds to get water access on both sides of the park! Our goal is $4000. If you would like to donate, you can do so by cash or check. The funds are going into an account with the City Parks and Rec, so all checks must be made out to the City of Wichita Falls. We will keep a ledger with all funds received, and will update often with our total. You can take all donations to Bahama Bucks, located at 3203 Kemp Blvd, next to Radioshack. Pass the word around, and lets get that water out there for our pups! Thanks!

Hey guys, just wanted to keep everyone posted on the WFDPA. As everyone knows, this heat has been too unbearable too have any outdoor events for our pups. Please keep in mind that we are still working on getting a great event put together for when the temps start to lower. We hope everyone has enjoyed the park, although the heat has limited its use. Thanks for all the support and we look forward to seeing everyone soon!

Hello all, we are still trying to get prices for the essential needs at the park, mainly a fountain. If you would like to donate, we have a PO Box set up(will be posted tonight) and you can write a check to the City of Wichita Falls, we will be keeping a spreadsheet of the totals and who donated. We are still in the long process of applying for our non profit status. Thanks and hope to see yall at the park soon.
