Our mission is to provide Care, Hope, and Support for All when Illness Threatens Life. Hospice of Wichita Falls is the first and only community-based, non-profit hospice serving 12 counties in North Central Texas. We provide hospice care and services in private residences, assisted living facilities, contracted nursing facilities and hospitals and in our W. Erle and Emma White Hospice Inpatient Center.

Loved ones came to pick up their teens… and witnessed something that touched their hearts. 💜
Today’s closing ceremony of Teen Camp Grin Again was more than an ending. It was also a celebration of 20 years of this incredible camp.
Loved ones sat and watched a journey unfold through photos… from the very first day to today. Smiles that started shy. Laughter that grew louder. Connections that formed quietly, then deeply.
What they saw wasn’t just a slideshow… it was healing. It was courage. It was their teens learning how to carry grief without carrying it alone.
In a quiet moment together, the wooden lanterns our teens created all week were lit alongside their parents… each one holding a story, a memory, and a love that continues to shine.
As families gathered and shared a meal together, we’re so grateful to Union Square Credit Union and IBEW Local 681 for feeding and serving our camp families at today’s closing ceremony.
We are so grateful to every teen who chose to be here this week.
Your courage to show up, to share, and to support one another inspires us more than words can say.
While we hope we taught you something along the way… the truth is, you taught us even more about strength, honesty, and what healing can look like when no one has to walk alone.
For 20 years, Camp Grin Again has been a place of hope and healing… and that legacy continues with each and every camper.

Not all powerful moments are loud… and today proved that. 💜

At Camp Grin Again, our teen campers had the opportunity to choose what spoke to them- discovering inner strength through jiu-jitsu or finding peace through yoga with Joan. In those moments, you could see growth happening in real time.

A heartfelt thank you to Iowa Park Jiu Jitsu Club for spending time with our teens and sharing your skills and passion. Your presence made today even more meaningful.

At Camp Grin Again, healing doesn’t look the same for everyone. It can be found in a new challenge, a shared laugh, a quiet moment, or the courage to simply show up. As we near the end of teen camp, we’re watching friendships grow, resilience deepen, and hearts make space for both joy and remembrance.

As we look ahead to tomorrow’s closing ceremony, our hearts are already full of gratitude for this incredible week with our teen campers. 💜

We promised more smiles, more laughter, and more moments worth remembering from Camp Grin Again album this week, and our teens are delivering all three. 💜

The smiles you see in these photos tell a beautiful tale of how grief is part of their story, but so is hope, laughter, friendship and day filled with fun.

Another day with our teen campers brought plenty of fun and learning.
New friendships grew a little stronger, confidence blossomed, and hearts found comfort in being surrounded by others who understand.

Smiles, swings, and everything in between. ⛳💜

It was another fun yet meaningful day at our Camp Grin Again!

As our teen campers encouraged one another, tried something new, and shared moments of fun on the indoor golf course, they were building more than just memories. They were building hope, connection, and the confidence to keep moving forward.

A special thank you to Next Level Golf for opening their doors and giving our campers a fun experience, and to FallsRide Public Transportation ( City of Wichita Falls) for helping make the day possible.

Between the laughter, conversations, and time spent together, our teens were reminded that healing can happen in moments of joy.

And this is only the beginning. There are plenty more smiles, memories, and moments of hope still to come this week!

Children and young adults (under 21) can receive comfort-focused hospice support while continuing treatment, so families never have to choose.
Did you know? Concurrent care allows children on Medicaid/CHIP to receive curative treatment and hospice care together, fully covered under the ACA.

We’ve officially kicked off the 20th year of Camp Grin Again, and today marked the first day of Teen Camp. What you saw wasn’t just our excitement, it was the beginning of connection, healing, & laughter.
