We’re looking for a Summer Camp Teacher to join us at Curious Minds School & ECE!

This is a part-time summer position working with children ages 5–13 in a fun, creative camp environment. It would be a great fit for a college student, teacher, teacher’s aide, or someone with childcare/camp experience who enjoys leading activities, helping kids stay engaged, and creating a positive summer experience.

Start ASAP

Experience in childcare, teaching, tutoring, or camp settings is preferred. CPR/First Aid is preferred or willingness to obtain. Background check and fingerprinting required.

✨ Curious Minds Summer Experience is here! ☀️

We’re opening full-day summer care (7:00–5:30) designed to give families the consistency they need and kids an experience they’ll actually enjoy.

Each week brings a new theme, from Inventors Lab and Science Explorers to Creative Arts, Adventure, and Cooking & Creativity, with hands-on morning experiences and afternoon workshops that keep learners engaged, creating, and exploring throughout the day.

Our days are thoughtfully structured with a balance of creativity, collaboration, and calm, so children aren’t just being supervised, they’re building, making, and growing in a supportive, connected environment.

✔ Full-day care (7:00–5:30)
✔ Weekly themed experiences
✔ Morning projects + afternoon workshops & exploration
✔ Breakfast, lunch, and snack included
✔ Designed for elementary through middle school learner (must be 5 by the start of camp; limited 4-K spots available).

We’ll also be adding a few special guests and featured experiences throughout the summer.

We're forming a Curious Minds Founding Advisory Council — a small, hands-on team to help with fundraising, grants, finances, and partnerships.

It’s a 90-day, non-voting working group (one meeting/month + 2–4 hours/month). This is also a precursor to our future voting board once governance is finalized, and advisory members will strongly be considered for board service later.

Today is International Women’s Day, and it feels like a good moment to reflect on something special about Curious Minds.

Today, Curious Minds is run by and staffed entirely by women — an incredible team of educators who show up every day to teach, guide, problem-solve, and inspire.

These are women who believe learning should spark curiosity.
Women who believe kids should ask questions, build things, explore ideas, and grow in confidence.
Women who show up daily to help young people discover what they’re capable of.

The future needs thoughtful, confident leaders — and we’re grateful for the women helping shape them here.

We’ve been doing some behind-the-scenes work in our Early Childhood program, and we’re really excited about a change that’s already making a big difference.

Last month, we officially split our 3K and 4K groups into two classes — giving both ages smaller class sizes, more focused attention, and a truly comprehensive Pre-K experience. The kids are loving it, and honestly, so are we. ✨

Because of this shift, we now have a couple of openings in our 4K class — something that doesn’t happen very often. If you’ve been considering joining our Curious Minds ECE family, this might be the perfect moment to take a peek.
