As you know, breast, cancer is one of the most common kinds of cancer in women, AND many of you may be avoiding your regular mammogram. The good news is, when found & treated early, most women survive! Screenings, including mammograms, can spot cancer at an extremely early stage. To encourage you to take time to care for yourself we’ve listed 6 facts about screenings. *40 is the average age to start yearly mammograms. *Screen earlier if you have a family history of breast cancer. * There may be some discomfort during a mammogram. * Compression can be uncomfortable, but valuable. * Dense breasts need additional screening. * A mammogram could save your life, schedule today!

They are now in need of our support to that they can continue uninterrupted food support to those in our community.
