6/20/26 Soroptimist Friendship Link meeting with SI Tijuana-Centro, Tijuana Rio, Tijuana La Mesa and SI Whittier members thanks to SI San Diego Club for hosting! We heard about the various service projects and possible ways we can help in the future. International Goodwill and Understanding is one of the ways we help women and girls both locally and globally! A great time was had by all!

Fun evening of Bingo with SI Whittier club members, Soroptimisters, family and friends. Thank you Veronica Franco for putting this event together and thank you Dolores Hayes for hosting it at you beautiful home! The fines raised helps pay for our officers to get educated to be our leaders at Conventions, conferences, district meetings and regional leadership trainings!

Congratulations Liz Apodaca, Past President of SI Whittier, Shannon Gimbel & Jan Sprague for being the three ladies honored with the Las Distinguidas Award 2026 by the Greater Whittier Area Branch of American Association of University Women (Whittier AAUW) on Saturday May 9, 2026! Soroptimist International of Whittier, Boys and Girls Club and Assistance League of Whittier were to organizations who submitted their names and were there for the presentation!
