Whittier Mayor's Prayer Breakfast Whittier Prayer Breakfast, owned and operated by Christian Business Men’s Connection.

The Whittier Mayor's Prayer Breakfast is patterned after the National Prayer Breakfast held annually in Washington D.C., and is designed as a time of prayer for our city, State and Nation, its leaders, and a time of rededication of individuals to God. Jack Carmichael, owner of Battel's Hardware organized the first breakfast in 1965 and is now held annually.
