Spectrum of Rio Hondo College Spectrum is a safe, accepting, and inclusive environment for people of all genders and sexualities to meet and discuss gender and sexual identity.

Formerly known as the Gay and Straight Alliance, Spectrum, a club at Rio Hondo College, was renamed because of the nature of exclusivity implied by its name, which surely was not intended when the club was first started in Rio Hondo College. Spectrum is a safe, accepting and inclusive environment for people to meet, discuss and learn about their gender and sexuality. We are open to all people, no

matter their gender or sexual identity. Our goal is to educate ourselves and the community about topics related to gender and sexual identity. We meet weekly at Rio Hondo College during the Fall and Spring semesters.
