Welcome to the Liberty Community Center! You can find our beautiful facility located at the corner of Telegraph Road and Valley View. From the street, you may notice Freedom Garden, an inspiring piece of art created by Susan Narduli to honor every man and woman who has served our country. Surrounding the majestic wall are Veteran Bricks which honor our neighbors. If you or someone you know is inte

rested in a brick, come to Liberty Plaza with proof of service and proof of Unincorporated Whittier residency and Guest Services will get an application working. Behind our building, you will find our bioswale and recreation area. Work out on our machines or walk the track while your kids enjoy the playground and grass. The entire facility is a conservation demonstration; solar panels supply park light and even the plants are indigenous to California to save water. The Liberty Community Plaza building is run by Help Line Youth Counseling, a non-profit organization. We also offer community rooms: Arts & Crafts Room, Health & Wellness Center, Teen Center, Art Gallery, Veterans Resource Center, Conference Room and our popular Multi-Purpose Room. This MPR offers a huge space for your next event, with a catering kitchen, projectors, sound system and the option of also renting the patio/amphitheater area outside.
