Masks will be available at the door for all attendees. 4. Meeting room sanitized before the meeting. 5. Temperature scan at the door for all attendees.
Folks, that is all that could be done to assure you we are protecting you as you attend our June 4th Charter Presentation Meeting of Lt. Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest Camp 2313, Whitney, Texas. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have additional concerns. I feel that you can all feel secure in coming. We will be serving good ol' Texas Chili and crackers with iced tea beginning at 6:30 up until 7 pm when the meeting gets underway.
There will be several items given to all who attend to include a 3 ft. X 5 ft. Gen. Forrrest Flag and documents you will enjoy
AN IMPORTANT NOTE: We will have an election of officers at this first meeting. We really need someone to step up and serve as out Camp Adjutant....Yes, we know it is a bit of effort to be Adjutant, but it is a rewarding post we do need right away. I am serving as Commander until the election as the 7th Brigade Commander, Frank Bussey, asked me to form a camp in Hill County. I know from having been a commander in the past that it is a fatal flaw if a commander takes it upon himself to do all and be all in a camp. Your commander will ask that each of you take it upon yourself to contribute some of your time and effort to make this camp a success.
