Met with our amazing Texas State Representative and friend Larry Phillips today. Discussed the details of proposed bill P.A.S.S. 4 L.i.F.E. Let us pray for its success.

It is now staring us in the face. Will we continue to just sit back? School shootings, threats, and violence have become the reality of what we are now dealing with. Small towns are not immune but we can take both an offensive and defensive approach. With metal detectors installed, a security officer(s) 👮 on duty during school hours, and security cameras 📷 in place, we can minimize potential attacks.

WHITEWRIGHT, Texas -- A Whitewright High School student is behind bars after he allegedly threatened to 'shoot up the school.' News 12's Daniella Rivera spoke to authorities on Monday about how they found out about the violent plot.

Okay, schools - Let's get like some of the other schools that have metal detectors installed at the entrances/exits of their buildings. I'm sure Columbine NEVER THOUGHT it could happen in their town either. This is the time and age we are living in and metal detectors help keep contraband from entering our facilities and to help keep our staff and students safe. Let's be PROACTIVE.
