Whitewater Geo-Science Club

Whitewater Geo-Science Club WGA is a UW-W campus organization for Geography and other Earth Science enthusiasts. All majors welcome!

Meetings are the first Thursday of every month in Upham 142 WGA is a student run campus organization for Geography and other Earth Science enthusiasts that promotes learning and camaraderie through fun events and fundraising opportunities. We work alongside the other Geo-science clubs (WeatherHawks and the Geological Society of Whitewater) to conduct and encourage community outreach, departmental

involvement, and student networking. We annually host the Geography Department Picnic, Baseball/Bowling tourney against the History Club, Fall Ethnic Dinner, and an End-of-Year trip to a national park or other major geography-related attraction.

Congratulations to the active WGSC members who presented their research projects at this years Undergraduate Reseach Program presentation day! Kalama, Lucas, Ryan, Mike, Rachael, Kirsten, and TY, along with mentors Juk and Ozgur, have invested alot of time and energy into making these projects great. The Whitewater Department of Geography, Geology, and Environmental Science is pleased to tell you that we will be screening the National Geographic documentary: "One Strange Rock", Today at 5PM in Upham Hall Room 142.
