The Hard Chargers are working hard on completing the "Geedunk" for the Whiteville Police Officers. What is a "Geedunk", you ask?
Well, it is U.S. Navy and Marine Corps slang for junk food, snacks, or candy; it also refers to the physical ship's store, canteen, or soda fountain area where these treats are purchased.
The Hard Chargers are replacing the junk food with healthy energy-sustaining food and snacks for officers working the overnight shift on weekends when restaurants are closed.

Gotta give the Hard Chargers kudos on keeping their clubhouse in tip top shape. These kids have been an integral part of the still ongoing process of creating a home away from home, where they can be comfortable and safe to learn and grow mentally, physically and emotionally. Hey friends, do you know of anyone who may be willing to donate and old used parachute (round canopy). It will be used for the overhead of our troop's outdoor classroom. Dusty, musty, doesn't matter. Yes, we are aware there are some for sale on Ebay. We found them to be too damaged to utilize or too expensive for our budget. Still looking.
