What an amazing Annual Celebration we had tonight!! A great crowd of churches, wonderful reports about the ministries throughout the CBA, an awesome message from Seth Brown that reminded us to keep our eyes on the Lord , especially when troubled, and an overall blessed spirit of worship and praise throughout the evening!! Congratulations to Mrs. Karen Worley, this year’s recipient of the Willis Horton Volunteer Service Award! Thanks to Pleasant Plains Baptist Church and their people for hosting. God has so much in store for the year to come and I, for one, am thankful to be On Mission Together!!

Big shout out of thanks to Food Lion, North Whiteville and the Food Lion Charitable Foundation for their most generous donation of $10,000 to our Backpack Buddy Program through the Summer Without Hunger 2026 Grant Program. We value the ongoing partnership we have with Food Lion in helping us help the children in our schools who have been identified as “at risk” for hunger on the weekends to have nutritious food to eat on the weekends. Thank you for giving to and supporting our Backpack Buddy Program!!
