🍦 What an Amazing Night! 🍦

Our first-ever WWCL Ice Cream Social, hosted by our Membership Committee, was a wonderful success! Thank you to everyone who attended, and a special welcome to all our potential new members. We absolutely loved meeting you and sharing more about our organization!

A special thank-you to Shelley for bringing the most amazing cinnamon rolls! 🧡🍥 They were such a delicious treat and made our evening even sweeter!

We were also thrilled to welcome Ben Zino, who gave a fascinating presentation, Return of the Wild. It was so interesting to hear about his experiences and his involvement in following the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Thank you, Ben, for sharing your stories and knowledge with us!

We’re already looking forward to our next gathering on Monday, November 16, when we’ll enjoy dinner with the girls from the Boys & Girls Homes of North Carolina. ❤️

Our member Brenda recruited her husband to help repair and replace doors on several Little Free Libraries around town.

Brenda loves reading and wanted to help make sure everyone in our community has access to good, dry books to enjoy. 📚❤️

Thank you, Brenda, for helping keep the love of reading alive in our community! 🌸

💜 WWCL Community Spotlight 💜

Today, one of our WWCL members made a very special donation — her hair! ✂️💜

She donated her long hair to Children With Hair Loss, an organization that provides hair replacements for children experiencing hair loss due to cancer and other medical conditions.

What a beautiful way to turn something personal into a gift of hope and confidence for a child. 💕

WWCL is proud to support women who make a difference in our community and beyond!

✨ Small acts of kindness can make a BIG difference. ✨
