2024 Hurricane Helene First Responders Coins. The proceeds from these coins will be donated to relief efforts in NC. They will ship approximately 5-6weeks after 10-8-2024.

This photo was taken by one of the City of Whiteville Fire Department firemen who are in McDowell County providing assistance due to the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. The things these guys have seen and witnessed firsthand is heartbreaking. Towns have been completely wiped out, families with infants have been without food for days, and people are bathing in creeks and streams. These folks are in great need of our help.

We are still accepting donations at Whiteville Fire Department (120 E Columbus St) until further notice. Any and all *new* items are being accepted, but we could use more of the following:

• baby bottles
• formula
• diapers
• wipes
• infant/children’s OTC medicines
• baby food
• feminine products
• personal hygiene products
• animal feed (cat, dog, livestock)

URGENT NEED:
• adult and children’s Benadryl

We’re thankful for all of those who have donated and assisted us so far! We have been able to send out multiple truck loads with trucks leaving out daily. If you have the means, please help however you can!

Monetary donations are being accepted by the Whiteville Firefighters Association. Checks can be made out to them directly and they accept CashApp, $WhitevilleFFA.
