Southeastern North Carolina was devastated over 26 months ago by the force of Hurricane Florence. NCCUMC/UMCOR has been blessed with Brian King, Construction Manager with Whiteville Disaster Recovery Center. Brian began his role as construction leader with WDR/UMCOR two years ago this day. 🎊🎉 From building permit; to ground breaking on a new home; to turning on the lights, he has been there with our disaster survivors in rebuild and repair helping so many people all across Southeastern North Carolina find a new normal. Being deployed to Louisiana numerous times to assist in assessment and coordination of recovery after hurricanes this past fall, Brian continues at our local center to be the hands and feet of Christ in this hurting world. Thank you Lord 🙏🏻 for sending “BK” to us and thank you Brian for all you do for so many. 😊
