My name is Jack Gaertner, I’m a filmmaker and documentarian originally from Georgia. Whitesville has had a special place in my heart since the first time I came with DOT ministries back in 2016. Every year I’ve learned more and grown more connected with this community. When I first heard about the UBB disaster I knew it was a story that needed to be shared. This project was an attempt to do that. I was inspired by the stories of faith and resilience in the aftermath of this disaster, and I hope this piece serves to paint a picture of the strength of this community.
