• Levitt AMP Whitesburg welcomes Ben Sollee with special guest Don Rogers.
• The 40 Mile Yard Sale kicks off throughout Pike & Letcher Counties along KY 805, 610 & 122. Shop, explore, and hunt for treasures June 11-13!

🍖 Friday, June 12
• Foodie Friday in Fleming-Neon featuring Two Big Pigs BBQ beginning at 11:00 AM.
• Gospel Explosion at Riverside Park in Whitesburg.
• Appalachian Movie Night at the Carcassonne Community Center.

🏁 Saturday, June 13
• Hidden Hollow Speedway in Colson hosts the 1st Annual Brad Centers Memorial featuring the KDRA Super Stock Series and Super Late Models. Gates open at 3:00 PM.
• Carcassonne Square Dance with music by Bluegrass Friends and caller Will Bowling.
• Gospel Explosion continues at Riverside Park.

• Free Gospel Music & Worship at 2:00 PM at Shelter #1 at Fishpond Lake in Payne Gap.
• Creekside Cruise-In at Fleming-Neon (3:00 PM - 5:00 PM).

Today is National Iced Tea Day!!

Iced tea is almost as southern as soup beans and cornbread.
Every event we have has to have tea or is it really a party?
We love Sweet tea to be exact!

Nothing quite beats a cold glass of iced sweet tea on a hot summer day.
It provides a much needed refresher and can be the perfect pick-me-up.

Come enjoy two of Kentucky's most respected musical voices! Master musician Don Rogers opens it up at 6:30, Emmy winning composer Ben Sollee takes the stage at 7:30. The Whitesburg Farmers Market opens at 6:00. Food, refreshments, kids activities, and family friendly entertainment. Free live music for all!

The Iconic Carcassonne Square Dance is Saturday night. Door will open for dinner at 5:30 pm. Music will begin at 6:00 and culminate with our traditional Virginia reel by 9:00 pm.
Music by Bluegrass Friends, with caller Will Bowling.
The menu for the night is a pulled pork or pulled chicken dinner, with a variety of BBQ sauces available.
Dinner includes a drink and dessert, for $8.00.
We have a wonderful playground for kids, and cakewalk(s) around 7:30.
Admission for adults is still $5.00, students 6-18, $3.00, and children under 6 are free with a paying adult.
Come join us for a night of friendship, food, and traditional music and dance.

Pine Mountain Grill has teamed up with the Kentucky Blood Center to host a community blood drive on Tuesday, June 9th, 2026. They will have the bloodmobile set up in the Pine Mountain Grill parking lot from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm for all who can participate.

Walk-ins are welcome, or you can schedule your appointment today at 800-775-2522. Please join us!

All that participate will receive a free “United We Give” t-shirt and a voucher for a FREE pint of Blue Bell Ice Cream. Give a pint, get a pint!

The Kentucky Blood Center serves over 70 hospitals in the state and provides blood that goes on to save the lives of our friends, family and neighbors. 1 pint of blood takes about 45 minutes of your time to give, but goes on to help up to 3 adults (or 6 children) in need. Please help us keep the blood supply full!
