Someone is asking for help to find info on their relatives who may have lived in the Whitesburg area at sometime. She informed me they are buried in the Bent Creek Cemetary. She said she doesn't know where or even if they lived in Whitesburg. She said:

"They lived in their house up until at least the late 80's. Their names were Arthur & Ruth Moore. Arthur passed away in 1990 and Ruth passed in 1993"

Anyone who remembers them, I'll be glad to pass the information along.

Ron Cantwell is an employee here at WCRK/WMTN Radio. He also works part time at WIVK and the Morristown 911 as a dispatcher. Back in June, he got sick and had a week or so hospital stay but had to continue going to the hospital 2 times a day for 5 weeks for IV antibiotics. He got his strength...

Hey guys. In light of all the recent issues with law enforcement officers being shot at and killed while on duty, I'm challenging the Whitesburg Community to do this for our officers. If you agree to watch out for them while they take care of us, comment below with, "I've got your back." These men and women are our neighbors, our friends, and even our family. It's time we made them feel a little safer.

Tomorrow on radio we are announcing something that the president should have done. I know I am a nobody (aka the President) but someone has to do it:

I am calling for a national day of prayer on Friday at 12 noon eastern I would like to ask that where ever you are you gather with like minded people and you pray for our nation and all those who protect and serve.

I will post the prayer that you can use at GlennBeck.com by 9am tomorrow.

I would also like to ask that all churches open their doors on Friday morning and call the believers in for prayer. Our protectors are under attack and it is open season on those that wear a uniform.

If your church has bells please ring them Friday morning in honor of the slain Officers and soldiers.

Let us turn to Him and beg for forgiveness and help. Let us show the police that we support them. May they rid themselves of the bad cops and stand shoulder to shoulder with us to stamp out this evil that is sweeping our country.
