The Sapling Center- Letcher County Youth Drop-In Center We have Play Station 4 with VR, other video games, TVs, movies, arts and crafts, free Wi-Fi, board games! All services are FREE.

We want all of our members to feel safe while also providing a place for them to thrive as young unique individuals. The Letcher County Sapling Center is a safe place for youth age 14-25 to obtain resources, make new friends, and receive services such as individual counseling, group therapy, life skills training, youth peer support, community support, and more! We have Play Station 4 with VR, othe

r video games, TVs, movies, arts and crafts, free Wifi, computer lab, board games, and peers/friends who would love to get to know you! We also have showers, snacks, clothes, and personal care items for those who may need them. We want all of our members to feel safe while also providing a place for them to thrive as young unique infividuals.

Today we worked on an important life skill—building a résumé! 📄✨

We spent time discussing what a résumé is, why it matters, and how to highlight strengths, skills, experiences, and achievements. Everyone began creating their own résumé using a template, taking the first steps toward future job opportunities and career goals.

It’s exciting to watch young people recognize their strengths and start building confidence in what they have to offer. Every accomplishment counts, and every journey starts somewhere! 🌟
