Some people become part of a place… and some people become part of its heart. 🥹💚

Ruby is one of those people.

For so many of our youth, and for all of us here at Sapling Center, Ruby has been so much more than a staff member. She has been a familiar face, a safe person, a listening ear, a source of laughter, encouragement, and so many memories that we’ll carry with us.

It’s hard to put into words what someone means to a place until it’s time to say goodbye. Ruby has left her mark on Sapling in ways that go far beyond a job description. She has helped make this place feel like home for the young people who walk through our doors.

While we are incredibly sad to see her go, we are even more grateful that we got to have her as part of our Sapling family. ❤️

Ruby, thank you for every laugh, every conversation, every activity, every little moment, and every life you’ve touched along the way. You will always have a place here, and a piece of Sapling will always go with you.

This isn’t goodbye forever… it’s just goodbye for now.

We love you, Ruby. Thank you for being such a beautiful part of our story. 🥹🌱💚
