Where’s Dolly? Being surrounded by books makes this one of her favorite places. Dolly is helping out at the front desk at the Harry M Caudill Library on Main Street in Whitesburg. Registration forms for the Imagination Library program are also available at the library for children under 5 yrs living in Letcher County.

She is working at the North Branch location of Whitaker Bank in Whitesburg. She is helping with customer service. Have a child under 5 years of age living in Letcher County? You can pick up a registration form there or register them online at www.imaginationlibrary.com

She is a temporary teller at Whitesburg’s Community Trust Bank on Main Street. Feel free to stop by and get information about the Imagination Library or a photo op. 🦋

*Children from newborn to the age of 5 are eligible to sign up to receive a free book each month.
Research shows that that up to 90% of brain development occurs before age 5, and that reading to children is one of the most important things parents can do to aid in brain development in a positive way.

If you are a resident of Letcher County and have a child/children that are younger than 5 years of age you may stop by and fill out a registration form.

Where is Dolly?
Dolly is at Whitesburg City Hall with Mayor Tiffany Craft, today, hoping to have some visitors stop by and sign up for the Imagination Library.

Where is Dolly, today?
The Whitesburg Rotary Foundation Board was at Whitesburg ARH signing up children for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. The youngest baby signed up this morning was 2 day old Zayn.
The board would like to thank Ellen Wright for allowing us to set up and giving us the opportunity to share about this wonderful program.

Dolly enjoyed her visit today to the Rotary Club of Whitesburg. She enjoyed watching The LCCHS drama team give a preview of their upcoming musical “Newsies”. Dolly thought they were so good that she wanted to get her picture with the team.
