I am very pleased to announce the Charles D and Leola H Ball Community Charity fundraiser for 2026.
This year we have chosen The Ronald McDonald House!

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) provides a "home-away-from-home" for families with critically ill or injured children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. Located worldwide, these houses offer private bedrooms, meals, and support services to reduce financial burdens and keep families together, usually for a low, voluntary donation ($10/night) or free of charge, with no family turned away due to inability to pay.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! Wanted to update you all on this year’s charity project- Connecticut Holiday Adopt a Child. We were able to buy Christmas gifts for 19 kids and in addition, support their 7 families with a $100 Gift card for Walmart. Between the multiple raffles on facebook and the music Bingo event, we were able to raised $2,600! The 19 kids and their families had a much brighter Christmas thanks to all of you. I’m sure Charles & Leola would be very happy with this project!

I would like to thank everyone for all of your donations this year!! Between all of our raffles and a very successful Music Bingo fundraiser held in CT we are able to give Christmas gifts to 15 children that would otherwise not have Christmas this year!! We are pleased and excited to be able to assist Connecticut Holiday Adopt-A-Child in 2025! Donations are still being accepted and we will continue to adopt as many children as we possibly can. 🎄🎄

This beautiful lantern was made by Debbie Ball. For every $20 donation made, you will be entered in the drawing to win this piece. A winner will be randomly drawn on November 1. The lantern will be mailed to the winner.

New fundraiser! A beautiful stained glass sea turtle has been donated by Linda Gurley for our charity. As many of you know, stained glass was something Charles and Leola loved to do. For every $10 donation you will be entered in the drawing to win this piece.

This year we are excited to announce we will be donating to Connecticut Holiday Adopt-A-Child. We will be adopting a family (hopefully more!) and will provide gifts for children who otherwise would not receive a visit from Santa this Christmas.
