The Central New York Labor Council has its offices in Utica, 20 miles North of the geographic center of the state. We are comprised of 63 affiliated public and private sector Locals, including 40 Locals of the New York State United Teachers. Our affiliates have a collective membership of about 17,000. Our community services arm, the Central New York Labor Agency, provides our working population wi

th educated access to the human, social and educational services in their communities, and serves the Council as our Field Mobilization Unit.

The 1st Annual CNY Labor Council Charity Golf Classic is officially in the books and we could not be more grateful to everyone who made it possible!

To our amazing sponsors - thank you for believing in this event and in our community. Your generosity and support made this day possible and we are truly grateful for each and every one of you.

To our donors - your contributions mean the world to us and to the families who will benefit. Every single donation makes a difference and we are so thankful for your kindness.

To our golfers - thank you for coming out, having a great time, and supporting such a worthy cause.

It is truly special to be able to use this tournament as a vehicle to give back to our community. Sleep in Heavenly Peace is an organization that is doing incredible work right here in Central New York; building beds for children who would otherwise go without. No child should have to sleep on the floor, and because of the generosity of our sponsors, donors, and golfers, we are able to make a real and meaningful difference in the lives of local families.

This is exactly why events like this matter. Golf is a great way to bring people together, but knowing that our time on the course translates directly into helping children in need makes it so much more than just a round of golf. We are incredibly proud to support Sleep in Heavenly Peace and we look forward to continuing to raise money for worthy local causes for years to come.

This was just the first annual event and we cannot wait to do it again. Stay tuned for details on the 2nd Annual CNY Labor Council Charity Golf Classic - it is going to be even bigger and better!
