Team ESH We are Team ESH, a 501(c)3 non-profit, providing skills for individuals in horsemanship, competition & education using saved-from-slaughter equines.

We operate out of Whitesboro Texas. www.equinesafehaven.com Equine Safe Haven is a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit committed to educational programs using equines that have been purchased from imminent risk of slaughter. We acquire specific Equines from a singular Texas kill pen and provide comprehensive rehabilitation-primarily but not limited to; Medical care, nutritional support, and retraining

-before integrating them into our individualized programs that promote horsemanship, life skills, and healing. Our Mission in Action
We use experienced horses, mules, and donkeys to teach:
🐴 Basic horsemanship and carriage driving
👥 Leadership, mindfulness, and personal development
💪 Physical fitness and therapeutic activities
Programs are designed for:
Veterans
People with disabilities
Seniors (65+)
Economically disadvantaged individuals
All instructions are provided at minimal or no cost.

Shout out to Sally Allen and Lynn Gay who continue to support (outstanding) ESH with their donations! We were able to get 9 equines trimmed, wormed, fly protected and supplements this last month of August and into September
Also want to thank those that purchased feed and supplies/supplements through our links in the website www.equinesafehaven.com for Chewy and Amazon. No small deed goes unnoticed and the horses, mukes and donkeys all appreciate the care.

Nonprofit whose mission is to save equines from slaughter and repurpose for use in education. We save driving cart & riding horses, ponies, mules, and donkeys.

Happy Birthday to an absolute angel 👼 on earth, Lynn!

🐴✨Today, we are celebrating a woman whose kindness, dedication, and pure love for animals have completely transformed Equine Safe Haven. Since 2022, she has been a true pillar of strength for our non-profit, making sure our rescues always have exactly what they need to thrive.

Because of Lynn’s beautiful heart:❤️ We were able to acquire the wheelchair-accessible carriage that brought so much joy to Alyssa Lucero.

🥕 🫏 Little Louie the donkey, has his monthly feed, grain, trims, vaccinations completely sponsored.

📦 Our rescued equines regularly get vital Chewy shipments of feed and supplements.

🐴 Isabella, Jojo, and our gorgeous big Percherons, Ice and Snow, were saved and given a second chance at life. Not only does she support our mission from afar, but she also rolled up her sleeves—multiple times at the Ranch in Deming, NM, to stay and help us do the hard, beautiful work on the ground.

Here she is looking absolutely radiant riding Kona!

Lynn, you are a spectacular woman, a savior to these animals, and a deeply cherished part of our family. We are so incredibly grateful for everything you do, and we are already crossing our fingers that we get to welcome you and your RV to Texas for a visit this fall??!!
